The Eco Cartridge manufactured by Encinales is a blend of materials made with mining cement and other powdered chemical agents, serving as the best substitute for resins. The Ecocartucho is presented in a cylindrical shape with a diagonal pointed end at one side and a circular tie at the other, featuring a biodegradable plastic core inside.
One of the main features of the Ecocartucho is the result produced once the cementing mixture comes into contact with water. It forms a paste that, when pneumatically or manually injected into the drill hole, provides high performance for anchoring work. In some cases, it can even cause the rod to burst under tension at an approximate load of 16 to 17 tons, using a 5/8 diameter grade 42 rod, within 45 minutes after the cement has been installed.
Other benefits and features of the Eco Cartridge are as follows:
Immerse the Eco Cartridge in clean water to start the hydration process of the product, waiting until the air bubbles stop flowing. Once this process is complete, the Eco Cartridge is ready for use.
The Secoint Bolt is one of the essential safety tools in the mining industry, due to its high reliability and performance generated by its physical structure. It features a slot along its entire axial length that allows it to close securely.
During installation in a smaller diameter borehole, it transmits radial compressive forces to the rock along the borehole, resulting in an increase in its load capacity.
The Secoint Bolt rod manufactured by Encinales offers the benefits of the Secoint Anchor, with the addition of a bolt extension and support from the Encinales Ecocartucho. Extraction tests show a resistance of 10 to 12 tons, with deformation starting at 9 tons (compared to 3 to 7 tons provided by the Secoint Anchor).
Tests conducted on 8-foot anchors show that results may vary depending on the quality of the rock mass.
This type of anchor is applicable for permanent structures such as workshops, dining areas, or for unstable works that require greater load support due to the type of terrain.
During installation, it is recommended to hydrate the Eco Cartridges, then insert the Eco Cartridges using Fainero (manual method), Jumbo Anchor, or the Encinales Pneumatic Launcher.
This type of anchor is applicable for permanent structures such as workshops, dining areas, or for unstable works that require greater load support due to the type of terrain. This anchor consists of 2 parts, which are:
**Manufactured according to Mexican Standard NMX-B-506 / ASTM A615.
Cable made of 7 strands of post-tensioned steel, with a support capacity of 10 to 30 tons per linear meter. It can be produced to the length required by the customer, offering greater tensile strength to support higher load densities. It is ideal for use in pillar stabilization, pre-anchoring, wedges, ore bodies, and production drilling and filling.
